A seat is one assigned staff signature. Drafts, edits and exports are unlimited and never use a seat. Pending invites hold their seat, and vacating a profile frees it to reuse. The owner only uses a seat with their own signature.

Each person pastes their signature into Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail or their phone using our guide. Nothing is pushed to mail servers or devices automatically, and phone apps often keep only the text-only version.

Good questions.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. Creating an account is free and asks for no payment details. You only pay if you choose a plan.

What counts as a seat?

A seat is one staff profile with an assigned signature. Drafts, edits and exports never use seats. A seat is used as soon as a profile exists, even if the person hasn't accepted their invite yet. The 3 included seats cover 3 people.

Does the account owner use a seat?

Only if the owner has their own assigned signature. An owner who just manages the team doesn't use one.

What happens if someone leaves?

Vacate their profile and the seat is free to reuse for someone else. You don't pay twice.

Can I add seats later?

Yes. Extra seats are $1 CAD per month on a monthly plan or $12 CAD per year on a yearly plan, always on the same billing cycle as your plan. Stripe asks you to confirm any change before you are charged. Reductions take effect at renewal.

What if my plan lapses?

Your signatures and team stay in your account as read-only. Saving and exporting resume once the plan is active again.

Is installation done for us?

No. Each person pastes their signature into their own email app using the step-by-step guide. Signature Studio doesn't change mail settings on anyone's computer or phone.

Are taxes included?

Prices are in Canadian dollars and shown before any applicable sales taxes, which are confirmed at checkout.
